Most applications to the Trust are sent to a specialist consultant for review and recommendation.

Here are some of the things they look for in an application:

  • Does the support material demonstrate a high level of artistic capability? Can the applicant be considered to have exceptional talent?
  • Does the application communicate their level of motivation and ability to take initiative? Have they acquired appropriate experience for this stage of their career?
  • Is the applicant in the early stages of their career? Will this project help them achieve the next level in their career and support their establishment as an artist?
  • Is this project appropriate for this stage of the applicant’s development? Is the project well-considered with clear and realistic objectives?
  • Is the proposed budget realistic and is the funding secure/likely to be secured and well-managed for the duration of the project?
  • Has the applicant considered Travel Insurance in their budget plan?
