The Ian Potter Cultural Trust received 119 applications in the first Emerging Artist Grants funding round of 2024.

From this highly competitive pool, 24 artists were awarded $296,112 in grants.

The Trust's new grantees will undertake an array of professional development opportunities across 14 countries, including Japan, Iceland and even within Australia.

This latest round encompasses a wide variety of artistic practices, from pleating crafts to film set design. Over the coming months, our new grantees will be able to expand their knowledge, skills and networks.
