Kaspar Schmidt Mumm
Context is everything – and for artist Kaspar Schmidt Mumm, it’s also homework while he studies at UDK Berlin.
Visual artist Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran was awarded a Cultural Trust grant in 2015 to complete a mentorship with Vipoo Srivilasa and participate in the Beyond Limitations Clay Mentoring Program.
Since presenting at her first international conference in Maine and undertaking a residency at The Wassaic Project, New York, 2016 grantee Georgia Saxelby has established herself in the US as an artist to be reckoned with.
In 2017, painter and grantee Oliver Stokes Hughes undertook a study tour in figurative drawing, painting and sculpture at the Ryder Studio, Santa Fe; Grand Central Atelier, New York; and the School of Visual Arts, New York, USA.
Supported by the Trust, Christina Lucia Giuffrida undertook a six-month Artist in Residence Program with practicing ceramists Magda Dejose and Andrew Kennedy at Sculpture Space NYC.
